How to install Running Board Step Pad (BC3Z-16490-A) on Ford F-Series Running Board.
- Remove the old step pad. If it's difficult, a heat gun can loosen the old adhesive.
- Clean the surface where you'll apply the pad thoroughly since more adhesives will be used. Clean dirt, oil and debris off with alcohol to ensure strong adhesion.
- Once it's clean and dry, align the pad with the step's groove (make sure the Logo facing the correct way) and push down. The tabs will snap into place and the pre-applied adhesive will connect.
- Apply pressure to the pads surface to ensure good contact for the adhesive.
